VIOLA CAPITOL OF THE WORLD

As members of the most honored group of American Veterans “walk tall”

with honest straight-forward endeavor by sharing your pride with your fellowmen. Allow others to feel the proud esteem and respect which has been won by the Purple Heart Citation holders by one time each year giving everyone opportunity to purchase and wear the VIOLA.

The VIOLA is the National Flower of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Deep-hued and wide-blossomed, the purple floral symbol was adopted in January 1946 as was the proclamation designating August 7th through August 14th inclusive, adopted as Purple Heart Week in the United States. August 7th chosen because that was the date that General George Washington created the Order of the Purple Heart Citation, and August 14th which is the anniversary date of V-J Day. Viola “tag days” are generally held during this momentous week. Prestige and funds grow abundantly from publicity and the profitable proceeds.
